Topic Tracker
The Topic Tracker can be used to track what particular groups are talking about in relation to freely definable questions and issues in social media such as blogs and forums.

There are six basic article parameters, which can be analysed and depicted in connection with this:
content, quality, progression, volume, linking and distribution.

In this way, high-quality insights are generated quickly for e.g. campaigns, products, brands, competitors and/or issues, because they are based on voluntary, uncontrolled articles and opinions, which are already available on the Internet.

The Topic Tracker is an analytical tool that can be employed in many different ways in a variety of corporate departments, e.g. as an insight spy for a brand, consumer, product or competitor; as an accompanying buzz monitor for a product or campaign launch or strategy shift; or as a reputation alarm for corporate communications.

The insights that are identified can be supported with significant statistics and arguments:
  • Buzz Value®, which generates the relevance of topics and articles based on the extent of their linking and on their relevance content-wise;
  • sentiment analysis to give a swift impression of the tonality, e.g. for alerts;
  • brand radars and issue radars, which connect the Buzz Value® and the sentiment with the thematic proximity between topics and brands
